I wish i remembered exactly where this was...Oklahoma i think, maybe Texas, but anyway the landscape started changing. It was getting pretty "indian country" which is what made us feel like cowboys for a little while. Everytime we started getting tired of driving, we thought about what it would've been like to do it in a covered wagon like the old days...no thanks.
Road food.
Mike had a little more of a problem with it than i did. (i guess i'm used to eating like crap, if at all) The best thing i found to eat as far as a snack items go were "flamin' hot funjuns". Man, they're either new or they don't sell 'em at home, mmmmmm...
Everything's bigger in Texas...yes sir, look at the size of this cross! We HAD to stop. It's the second biggest cross in the northern hemisphere! Dude!

great pictures! OBTW..the biggest cross in the northern hemisphere is in Groom Texas, located in the panhandle..also on Route 66. Mom
